We are the Spencer family from Abergavenny, South Wales UK. We have been involved with the Leonberger since 1998.
Our first female came to us in 1999. We then imported our first male Knockandos Ivanhoe Original for Mandazz from a wonderful lady called Ruth Lintonsson from Harryda near Gothenbourg Sweden, we have developed a close friendship with Ruth and her family and this helps us share bloodlines and health knowledge between our countries.
We bred our first litter in 2001 from our Tia and sired by Swedish Champion Sund Stamms Design of Golden Art, from this we kept our female Lara.
In 2003 we were gifted a female - Ch. Vannroy Keepsake to Mandazz - Ella who became Top Puppy 2004, Crufts Best Puppy 2004, Top Bitch 2006 and as of October 2007 is female record holder for Kennel Club Challenge certificates. She also has several Group placings at Championship level.
